A highly detailed version of this pooja breaks the ritual into (steps of service). While standard Archana uses 16 or 32 steps, a Purna Pooja (complete ritual) includes 51 steps: beginning from Dhyanam (meditation), Avahanam (invitation), Asanam (seat), to Maha Naivedyam (food offering), and ending with Mangala Aarati .
