The plot centers on Jack, played by Nicholas Hoult, a farmhand who accidentally opens a gateway between the human realm and a kingdom of giants. When Princess Isabelle is carried into the clouds by the rapidly growing beanstalk, Jack joins the King’s elite guard to rescue her.
