Because Quake's assets are still under copyright, the only legal way to obtain the full set of PAK files is by purchasing the game or downloading the official shareware version.
Obtain pak0.pak (and pak1.pak for full version). Create Folder: Create a folder named id1 . Place Files: Copy the PAK files into the id1 folder. Quake Pak Files Download
